Ingredients

mixed beans, rinsed and drained (equal amounts Romano, kidney and chick peas)
cold vegetable broth
olive oil
soy sauce
sesame oil
cloves garlic, finely minced
chopped onion
grated parmesan cheese
vital wheat gluten
nutritional yeast
fennel seed, crushed
sweet paprika
dried oregano
dried parlsey
dried thyme
pepper or to taste
Preparation
1. Before mixing your ingredients, get your steaming apparatus ready, bring water to a full boil.
2. Have ready 5 sheets of tin foil.
3. In a large bowl, mash the beans (or pulse in food processor).
4. Add all the other ingredients together in the order listed and mix with a fork.
5. Divide dough into 5 even parts. Place one part of dough into tin foil and mold into about a 5 inch log. Wrap dough in tin foil.
6. Place wrapped sausages in steamer and steam for 40 minutes.
7. You can unwrap and enjoy immediately or refrigerate or freeze until ready to use. They are great on the barbeque (heat for about 10 minutes until browned on the outside).
