medium chopped potatoes with skin on (can be part white part sweet potato)
large carrots chopped

chicken broth
condensed cream of mushroom soup
fresh thyme removed from stems
boneless chicken breasts cut into pieces
pepper to taste
bay leaves
chicken broth
corn starch
broccoli cut into pieces
snow peas
Preparation
1. Place first 6 ingredients in slow cooker in order listed.
2. Combine next 3 ingredients in a bowl and pour over chicken and add bay leaves and pepper. Do not stir.
3. Cook on low for 9 – 10 hours.
4. Combine chicken broth and corn starch. Remove bay leaves and add chick broth.
5. Add broccoli and snow peas and stir. Cook on high for about 10 minutes until broccoli and snow peas are tender.
6. Leftover stew can be put in individual oven proof dishes and topped with pastry to make chicken pot pies.
